Always tuning into the latest news and headlines, Emmi Koning has a knack for gaining the inside scoop and staying up to date on current events. She is a passionate and committed journalist, excited for her first year on the Falconer. She is eager to contribute her ideas to the Falconer and connect with the other members. As she advances into her sophomore year, she looks forward to establishing new friendships, growing as a writer and bringing a fresh insight and perspective to the newspaper. When outside of the newsroom, she will be on the tennis courts perfecting her serve. She also loves to play beach volleyball and travel with her parents and two brothers. Koning is an adventurous chef, always experimenting and testing out new recipes in the kitchen, especially her seasonal specialties. Koning can also be found volunteering at the clothing bank, participating in school clubs or grabbing an açaí bowl on the way to the beach with her friends.
