Jessie Chen, Assistant Editor-in-Chief, Workflow

A junior and this year’s Assistant Editor-in-Chief, Jessie Chen is returning for her second year on staff ready to take on new challenges. Last year, she had an amazing time as a staff writer, guided by an amazing team. This year, her goal is to form a cooperative and welcoming workspace and edit stories to the best of her ability to play her part in helping enhance the publication’s standards. Outside of the newsroom, Chen is a dedicated figure skater and a proud owner of a mini goldendoodle named Daisy.

Viktoria Kiss, Sports Editor

As Viktoria Kiss embarks on her third year of high school, she reflects on her immense commitment to the Falconer staff since her sophomore year, when she served as a Staff Writer. Kiss consistently brings passion and enthusiasm to the newsroom, writing and editing each story with an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. This year, Kiss is excited to return to the Falconer and explore more opportunities in her role as the Sports Editor. Growing up playing competitive sports, Kiss demonstrates a clear focus on highlighting the lives and achievements of hardworking student-athletes, as evident in her writing. For the next two years, Kiss has her heart set on establishing a strong collaborative environment within the staff, with a heavy focus on highlighting the Falconer’s hard work both within the school and in the community. Outside the newsroom, Kiss can be found volunteering, focusing on any way she can to create smiles and give back to those who need it most. In addition to her philanthropy work, Kiss can be found spending time with friends at the beach, traveling with her family, scrolling on Pinterest or updating her scrapbook.

Lily Bruch, Arts and Entertainment Editor

As Lily Bruch continues her dedication to the Falconer in her second—and senior—year, she steps into the role of Entertainment Editor with excitement and curiosity. With a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for the arts, Bruch is ready to bring a creative spark to the section and help shape the Falconer’s voice during her final year. Outside the newsroom, she is a physical therapy intern, where she continues to explore her interest in health and hands-on care. When she’s not writing, interning or editing pages, you can find her crafting jewelry whenever Michaels has a sale, sunset swimming in the ocean with her best friends or putting on fashion shows in her living room. Whether chasing stories or butterflies-in-the-stomach moments, Bruch is eager to make her last year on staff unforgettable.
