Vogue’s annual “55 Best Dressed People of 2025” list encompasses the year’s top fashion icons, highlighting artistic and creative clothing worn by models, actors, politicians, dancers and more.
Transgender activist, model and influencer Alex Consani was praised by Vogue for her “whimsical” closet and bold looks. Cosani showcased her style at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s “2025 Art + Film Gala,” where she wore a draped, transparent, sequin-sewn Gucci halter dress paired with pointed beige nude Gucci pumps.
Known for her leading role in Netflix’s “Wednesday,” Jenna Ortega’s outfit for the London premiere of the series reflected her unique personality, as well as the character of Wednesday. The sheer Ashi Studio dress incorporated elements of gothic glamour with its reptile skin pattern and textured hemline.
Isabelle Do (11) voiced her thoughts on Jenna Ortega’s “best outfit.”
“I really liked her in ‘Stuck in the Middle’ and ‘Wednesday,’” Do said. “She’s definitely one of my favorite actors. The outfit is definitely unique, and it kind of washes her out. I don’t know how it matches the theme of Wednesday because it’s dark and gloomy, but she still looks gorgeous as always.”
As a singer, songwriter and founder of the cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty, Rihanna was also featured on the list. At the 2025 Met Gala, she wore a vintage piece designed by Marc Jacobs, which blended elements of grunge and chic, featuring a black corset and blazer skirt made entirely of leather.
Long-time fan of Rihanna, Neomi Koffler (11), admires the singer for her unique style on the red carpet.
“It’s very different from her typical style,” Koffler said. “It has a different vibe, almost like Kim Kardashian with a mix of grunge. It almost looks like Rick Owens styled it.”
Advanced Placement English Language and Composition as well as English 9 teacher Brianna Milholland was captivated by South Sudanese-American supermodel Anok Yai’s outfits this year.
“[She] is absolutely stunning,” Milholland said. “I don’t typically see these kinds of hues of cream very often, and I think it really complements her skin tone.”
Yai was named Model of the Year at the 2025 Fashion Awards. She attended the event in a “white and cream corseted custom Dilara Findikoğlu gown,” according to Vogue.
“Oh my gosh,” Milholland said. “All of her outfits are beautiful, and I’m genuinely so mesmerized by the contrast between her deep skin tone and the cream gowns that she models, and the richness of the blue gown is to die for.”
The deep, royal blue train maxi dress by George Trochopoulos was Yai’s outfit at the BoF500 Gala. Other outfits spotlighted on Vogue’s list were from Gigi Hadid’s birthday, the Daily Front Row Fashion Icon Awards, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Party and Milan Fashion Week.
Chronicling the evolution of fashion culture, Vogue curates this list to illustrate fashion as an imaginative and innovative form of expression — an art which mirrors personal identity, diversity and individuality.
