“No Kings” protesters in San Diego and across America rallied in costumes and lifted hand-made signs against the Trump Administration’s immigration, healthcare and redistricting policies at nonviolent demonstrations, echoing a slogan borrowed from Thomas Paine’s 1776 American Revolution pamphlet: “Common Sense.” These protests took place on Oct. 18.

Local protesters flooded Downtown San Diego, lined Del Mar Heights Road and stood along Carmel Country Road in a couple of the over 2,700 nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations that day.
