PALs hosted the annual Suicide Prevention Walk on Sept. 6, inviting clubs both on and off campus. Historically, the event has been held on the first Saturday of Septemeber — suicide prevention awareness month.

Scripps Ranch High School senior and Student Wellness Education and Resources (SWEAR) co-chair Nita Kamath holds a “Reasons to Stay” Post-it board. Athough this was the first year they were invited to the school’s Suicide Prevention Walk, SWEAR also hosted an annual March for Mental Health in the district in March.
