As Reese Carsley begins her third year of high school and her second year of the Falconer, she’s excited to participate in the paper from a bit of a distance, 5,894 miles to be exact. Taking on the role of foreign correspondent this year, you can find Carsley studying on the streets of Zaragoza, Spain. At any given time she will probably be struggling to figure out the train systems, double checking her Spanish on Google Translate, taking a stroll down The Ebro or making paella with her host family. The desire to travel has been ever present in Carsley’s life as she grew up looking out plane windows and feeling comfort in airports around the world. As she’s soaking in Spain's culture and beauty, Carsley will also be reporting on news and life abroad, offering the Falconer a foreign perspective. Despite the distance, Carsley is never more than a WhatsApp call away and is so excited to continue to be a part of this incredible staff!
